Founded in 1974.
This rugby team practices three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for 1 to 1.5 hours a day. On other weekdays, they study or work on other school activities and during weekends and holidays, go on study and training camps together.

This is all in the pursuit of achieving “Bunbu-Ryodo” – to excel in both literacy and physical arts. The motto of the team is Succeed – “Give everything your all and succeed.” As a result of a training style focused on quality over quantity, they have been successful in competing at the national high school rugby tournament at Hanazono Rugby Stadium several times.

Even the Commissioner of the Japan Sports Agency has visited them to observe their training as a ‘leading example of the application of ingenious training styles.’
